What is biofeedback?

Biofeedback training uses physiological monitoring technology to increase awareness, control and enhancement of brain performance and internal body activity as: blood pressure, muscle tension, heart rate, perspiration and body temperature.

The Training

With the assistance of a biofeedback professional the individual engages in conscious training to increase awareness and voluntary control of internal physiological activity, such as: brain performance, muscle tension and blood pressure.

The purpose is to reach the point where voluntary control of specific internal body activity is learned, and can then be performed anywhere, anytime.
